Mirei and Lightstrike - Character Revamp

Continuing with some design upgrades, here we have Mirei and Lightstrike.

Top: Mirei had already gone through a massive design overhaul, but I made a couple more tweaks to it. I'm liking how her colors came out a lot more here than what I had done before.

Bottom: Lightstrike is admittedly one of my favored characters but his design was definitely lacking. I wanted to keep the storm-cloud look to him, so I went with a more natural-looking sort of brindle design. Also, remember when I said I didn't like making my designs too complicated? I'm pretty sure I lied.
Also, his face bothers me. I should have spent more time getting the shape and proportions right, but I got lazy. I was too worried about that back leg, which still looks weird. Ugh.
